API 570 in Estes Park

Keith's Class 

We did it!  We had two October API 570 classes going on simultaneously in Colorado.  Even though we had 50 students, there were even more ELK.  Almost every morning or evening, elk were bugling.  What a tremendous place for a class.  

We appreciate all our students who made this very memorable trip!  

One student even skipped Saturday's Practice Exam and climbed to the top Long's Peak 14,250 ft. Whew! I had a hard enough time walking back to classroom after lunch! But I don't feel to ashamed, ... I saw a lot of much younger inspectors driving to each meal to avoid the relatively short walk to lunch  ... at 8000 ft elevation! ​
